The Game of Life 

Organised by Hope08, Compassion and City Links, The Game of Life is going to be one of the major events in Greater Manchester this year. The Game of Life is an event not to be missed! On Tuesday the 23rd of September Manchester Velodrome will play host to J John and other special guests for the main evangleistic event of the year. Manchester Velodrome has the capacity to hold 5000+ people and the vision is to see it filled with non-Christians invited by their Christian friends. J John is one of the foremost evangelists of recent years and this is an opportunity to see hundreds respond to the message of the gospel.

This year we were saddened to hear that retired staff members Maude Lewis and Deryck Thompson had passed away.

Deryck (picture on the right of the screen) led MCM as director for many years and through many changes. Maude served along side Deryck as MCM administrator.

During Maude's funeral and the Manchester thanksgiving service for Deryck, many gave testimonies to their individual commitments to serving God. Those who serve today remain grateful for the work of previous generations.

The Resonate course is over and the feed back received from those who attended has been very positive and some people have been so encouraged that they want to join our team of evangelists in order to put into practice what they have learnt.
