November 2009 Update
We are pleased to announce that on Friday 13th November at 7:30pm, we have managed to secure the services of Paul Jones and Fiona Hendley for an "Evening of Song and Testimony."
Paul Jones was the award winning leader singer of one of the biggest bands of the 1960's, Manfred Mann. The band had several hits that included "5-4-3-2-1" and "Do Wah Diddy Diddy."
Before he became a Christian, he argued against Billy Graham on TV with Cliff Richard.
Fiona was surrounded with spiritualists and mediums before being converted. She has worked in all areas of show business from her TV series, "Widows," to productions on the West End.
Again, Ivy Manchester have given MCM the use of their building for the evening for which we are grateful. Entrance is free but a retiring collection will be taken.

July 2009 Update
Manchester City Mission are holding "an evening with George Verwer" (founder of Operation Mobilisation) on Friday 4th September 2009 at 7:30pm. Ivy Manchester (Didsbury) have kindly agreed to allow MCM the use of their premises and entrance is free, but a collection will be taken. Please let us know that you would like to attend.
We have recognised that the Windsor Church area that is part of the Windsor Christian Centre is being under utilised. Because of this we are wondering if your church would be interested in hiring out the church area on a regular basis for church based activities?
The church can comfortably accommodate 100 people and and an extra 50 can be seated in the overflow area. The building comes with a heated baptistry and a fully equipped kitchen.

2] Fathers Heart Church, Clayton, Manchester have booked Manchester City Mission to deliver a Resonate evangelism course and you are invited to attend. It is being held on Saturday June 20th (11am to 5pm) and Sunday 21st (3pm to 6:30pm) - please contact the MCM office on 0161 736 7959 to book places - its free, but donations will be welcome. Please note that places are extremely limited.
